AS MOST politics junkies know, Georgia has a runoff election Dec. 2.

Races to be decided include the U.S. Senate showdown between incumbent Republican Saxby Chambliss and Democrat Jim Martin, who rode Barack Obama's coattails to an improbable near-victory Nov. 4, and a fight for the Public Service Commission between Democrat Jim Powell and Republican Lauren McDonald.

The Chatham County Voter Registration Office will conduct early voting for the General Election Runoff at 1117 Eisenhower Dr, Suite E, Savannah, GA 31406 beginning Nov 18-21, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Advance voting(week prior to the election) will be conducted at the Main Office and the Savannah Civic Center:

Chatham County Voter Registration Main Office, 1117 Eisenhower Dr., Suite E

Mon., Nov. 24: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

Tue., Nov. 25: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

Wed., Nov. 26: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Savannah Civic Center, 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave.

Mon., Nov. 24: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tue., Nov. 25: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Wed., Nov. 26: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
