Savannah Jazz Festival — A week of free jazz at multiple venues around town, chiefly Forsyth Park. Headliners this year include Anat Cohen, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Dan Wilson, Dolette McDonald, Eric Culberson Band, and Howard Paul Quintet.

Savannah Greek Festival — The annual festival will feature homemade Greek foods, Greek desserts, Greek dancing, Greek music, church tours, market place, and so much more during the three-day celebration of Greek food, music and heritage. Savannah Hellenic Center, 14 West Anderson Street.

Tybee Island Pirate Festival — The 15th annual Tybee Pirate Festival is headlined by Great White this year. The Buccaneer Ball is Thursday night. The Festival itself runs Fri. 5-11 p.m. and Sat. 11-11, with the Pirate Victory Parade 3-5 p.m. Lez Zeppelin and Great White play that night. The Festival continues Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.Sat

Hello Neighbor: Community Pride Parade — This project is intended to bridge gaps between each of us and our neighbors by providing a space that everyone in the community can participate, while encouraging the least represented to take front stage. Although everyone is encouraged to participate a special invitation is extended to include women’s, minority, immigrant, multi-cultural, LGBTQ groups or individuals. Savannah Pride — This year’s theme of Myths & Legends, is a recognition and a celebration to all those who have come before us and all those who are currently paving the way. Rock n’ Roll Marathon and half marathon — The musically themed Rock 'n’ Roll Savannah Marathon & ½ Marathon, known for Bringing the Fun to the Run, returns to the Hostess City for its ninth year.
