Fauna: New Work by Jefferson O'Neal

When: Sept. 1-18 2017
Phone: 912. 231. 7105
Price: free and open to the public
In this series Jefferson O’Neal, a professional illustrator and sequential artist, has been trying to move away from the constraints of his own perfectionism, and embrace the chaotic essence of Mother Nature through vivid light, color and movement. Yoga and a move to a vegan lifestyle, initially done for health reasons, has had an immense impact on O’Neal's art and on the way he perceives himself. It was through this series of paintings that the artist began to perceive animals differently, recognizing them as spiritual being on an equal level with humans.
