An evening of acoustic music featuring two acts by local artists: Act 1 – Southern Tied, 4-piece blue grass band featuring Leigh & Al Harris, Kevin Williamson, and Bucky Jones. Act 2 – Joe Nelson & James Pittman form the ‘old time country’ duo featuring close harmony singing combined with fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. First Friday for Folk Music offers a fantastic music listening experience: live acoustic music by local and traveling artists, low admission fee, alcohol free, non-smoking, secular event, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
