July 6: Today's events 

Here's what's going on today (Friday, July 6): The first Friday of each month brings us goodies, including the Forsyth to Victory Art March (visit midtown galleries, beginning at the Sentient Bean, from 6 to 9 p.m.); the Tybee Art Walk, a celebration of the creative business corridor on the North End (5-8 p.m.); and the Savannah Folk Music Society's "First Friday for Folk" concert (7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church). Country ingénue Morgan Frazier is onstage at Desperados, Brandon Nelson McCoy & the Monkeygrass Jug Band play Live Wire, Bear Fight! celebrates a CD release at the Jinx, and KidSyc@Brandywine put in an appearance at the Rock House on Tybee.
