Lands End Woodland River Festival

When: Fri., Aug. 29, 5-11 p.m. and Sat., Aug. 30, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. 2014

A multicultural family event featuring Gullah storytellers, African dancers and drummers, gospel choirs, steppers, Latin folklorica dancers, a youth puppet show, lowcountry seafood and tasty Gullah dishes; art on sale, and historical tours of Fort Fremont. Friday evening Fish Fry starts at 5 p.m. and all-day Saturday River Festival begins at 11:00 a.m.
