Award-winning Chilean author Pía Barros is known worldwide for her dedication to human rights and her belief in the power of literature and the arts to bring about social change. She will discuss her latest work, a series of short story anthologies designed to raise awareness about violence against women and children in her native Chile. The lecture will be delivered in Spanish accompanied by an English transcription.
