SCDS Upper School Spanish instructor Michelle Dumais will explore the historical roots of the tensions between Spanish regionalism and nationalism and discuss the various political, artistic, economic and cultural manifestations of these dueling identities. Part of the new Faculty Explorations lecture series, this event is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required at www.savcds.org/facultyexplorations. This lecture entitled “Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao: Nationalism and Regionalism in Contemporary Spain” will be delivered in the Lewis 226 Room at Savannah Country Day School.
