Mudaphorically Speaking

Artist Clair Buckner improvises with ideas inspired by found objects and popular phrases. Incorporating mix media with ceramics and photography gives her the freedom to play with words and materials. In connection to muddy metaphors and found objects, sculpture artist Eric Clark’s body of work is also an exploration of material and metaphors. His works are a composite of familiar everyday items that are hand sculpted to be aesthetically pleasing and have an autobiographical narrative.
