Here's what's going on today (Friday, Nov. 2): It's Matt Dillon day at the Savannah Film Festival; the actor will participate in a Q&A following the 2:30 p.m. screening of his 2002 thriller City of Ghosts, and receive an award from SCAD at 7, prior to the Trustees Theater showing of the Australian film The Sapphires. The Tybee Beach Brew Fest begins with "Brats, Bangers & Brew" tonight at Marlin Monroe's. It's First Friday night for the Savannah Folk Music Society; the 7:30 p.m. show features Brian Ashley Jones and Melanie Mirande (at First Presbyterian Church).
