Oct. 27: Today's events

Here's what's going on today (Saturday, Oct. 27): Quite a busy Saturday in Savannah.  In the Telfair Rotunta, there's an operatic vocal concert, with the Savannah Philharmonic Chorus and soloists, featuring music by Carlisle Floyd, who'll be in attendance. "An American Songbook Concert" begins at 7:30. Hosted by opera great Sherrill Milnes. There's a full day of music at Graveface Fest, starting at 2 p.m. and lasting into the wee hours, at Southern Pine Co. Black Moth Super Rainbow, Cusses and KidSyc@Brandywine are among those on the Halloween-themed bill. The Savannah Film Festival starts with a screening of Silver Linings Playbook, 7:30 p.m. at the Trustees Theater. The Rocky Horror Show is onstage at Bay Street Theatre (showtime is 7:30). And it's a "Big Trouble in Little China"-themed evening, at the Jinx celebrates Halloween with the annual blood-wrestling competition and a hi-voltage set from GAM. At the Livewire, Turtlefolk is back with its annual Turtleween concert.
