Each week, we will highlight pets available for adoption from local rescue organizations. In December, we are featuring Coastal Pet Rescue.
TILLY
AGE: One year
COLORS: White and Brown/Rust
WEIGHT: Medium (25 - 50 LBS)
If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic dog, Tilly could be your girl.
This girl really is as sweet as can be, and she’s got lots of puppy energy! While she gets along with other dogs we’ve learned she’s a little too overly interested in cats, so no felines for this girl.
In true Hound fashion, she loves long, sniffy walks. A big, fenced in yard will be required so she has room to explore without sniffing her way right out of the yard while she investigates everything.
Tilly is crate trained, potty-trained and knows how to use a doggy door. Even though Tilly can be a crazy puppy, she is quick to learn and will also calm down and snuggle when she gets tired. And she loves her toys – especially stuffed animals she can toss around. Tilly will need a person or family that understands this puppy energy, and that is willing to take the time to work with her. We feel that with patience and devotion, Tilly will grow into a wonderful family dog.
DAN & FOREST
AGE: Six Months
COLORS: Multi/White
WEIGHT: X-Small (Under 10 lbs)
Dan & Forest made their way to Camp Pawsawhile after a successful community TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) effort by one of our volunteers. It was observed that this pair is super friendly so we gave them a chance to find their forever home!
Dan is very curious and is always the first to greet volunteers for their shift. He will often reach out a paw to insist that you pet & snuggle with him.
Forest is still coming out of his shell but is receptive to affection. He just takes a little time to trust.
They can often be found snuggling with one another in a comfy bed or playing with their roommates. We would love to see these boys go to a home together as they’ve been through a lot and really enjoy one another. They also will entertain one another while you’re at work - and it’s so much fun to watch them play together!
Let these good boys warm your home and your heart!!
