Piano in the Arts- Romantic to Turn of the Century

The program for this performance was inspired first by the idea of Gemstones; they can be various sizes and colors, yet every one of them has a different spark and character and together could be presented like a kaleidoscope. Idealistic romanticism, nationalism, and exoticism are all themes in this program. This concert will showcase as much diversity in colors, approaches, and countries as possible (away from the German masterpieces) within one recital program.
