AFTER you’ve watched the solar eclipse on Monday, head over to The Jinx for a swingin’ bash with Savannah’s own Fabulous Equinox Orchestra. Take off those eclipse glasses and get down to swing standards, Motown favorites, the hits of Frank Sinatra, and more.
Led by Louisiana natives and perfectly Southern gentlemen Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson, The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra is a 17-piece big band that’s full of energy and fun.
Monday’s event will also be an opportunity for the audience to learn about the Two Hundred Club of the Coastal Empire, an organization that responds with immediate financial assistance to the surviving spouse and children of local first responders who lose their lives in the line-of-duty.
Keep an eye out for Orchestra members throughout the day; the group’s offering brass band pop-up concerts throughout downtown.
