Resin Basics for Jewelry Making with Kristine Kennedy

In this class you will create unique, one a kind mixed media pieces of jewelry using some basic techniques with resin. You will learn to mix and pour two-part epoxy resin. We will play with adding color through using metallic pigment powders and alcohol inks and discuss other ways color can be added to resin. We will learn about the different kinds of bezels that can be used and how to work with backless bezels. The different viscosities of resin will be explored and you will learn how to use that in your favor. Also, items can be brought to class such as shells, gears, charms, to be suspended in resin to complete your pieces.
