THE Wormhole hosts its second annual fundraising concert for The Tiny House Project, which is working to create a community of 128 square-foot homes for homeless veterans. The materials for each home cost $7,000, with the total project—including land, clubhouses, 72 homes, and site preparation—totals $1.7 million. By raising funds for the project, Savannahians can help provide veterans safe housing, resources like AA and additional services, and a supportive community.
Savannah’s own The Mercers, Mr. Wait (a new project featuring Brennan Mitchell on guitar and vocals, Jacob Poirrier on bass and vocals, and Max Christman on drums), Garden Giant, and McLeod will perform in support of the event.
The Wormhole’s big bash also includes a raffle of art and additional goods and services. All proceeds from the door and the raffle will support The Tiny House Project.
Saturday, December 16, 8 p.m., $5 or 2-3 canned or boxed food items, 18+
