Atlanta’s own Rod Hamdallah kicks off his 2018 right here in Savannah. Inspired by Southern Delta blues, garage rock, and real roots country, Hamdallah got his start early, opening up for legends like Sean Costello and Dex Romweber when he was just 17 years old.
Fans of Flat Duo Jets, Captain Beefheart, and the Black Keys will be drawn to his raw, dirty sound and melodic vocal style. Hamdallah plans to release the follow-up to his debut EP, ‘Think About It,’ in 2018.
Savannah bluesman Ray Lundy of the band Bottles & Cans opens up the show.
