Savannah Music Festival adds Jenny Scheinman's Mischief & Mayhem

Jenny Scheinman's Mischief & Mayhem will join Margaret Glaspy for a Friday, March 30 performance at Savannah Music Festival.

Glaspy was originally scheduled to perform with Juana Molina, who recently cancelled her U.S. tour. Scheinman and her band, featuring Nels Cline of Wilco, Todd Sickafoose and Jim Black, will replace Molina's slot on the bill.

The chameleonic sound of Scheinman and band features guitar loops, grooves, and psychedelic influences, and experimental jazz sounds. She's performed with Bill Frisell, Lucinda Williams, Marc Ribot, Lou Reed and Norah Jones.

Margaret Glaspy and Jenny Scheinman's Mischief & Mayhem perform at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at The North Garden Assembly Room at Ships of the Sea Museum. Tickets are $30.
