Savannah Naturalist 101 Lecture: Sustainable Fisheries

When: Thu., Sept. 19, 7 p.m. 2019
Price: Free and open to the public, but advance registration is required
Georgia’s short, but productive, coast lends itself to a diversity of marine fishery resources such as shrimp, crab, and a number of fin fish species such as trout, sea bass, and snapper. Join Associate Marine Extension Director Bryan Fluech for an interactive overview of Georgia’s marine fisheries! Bryan will discuss efforts to ensure Georgia's fisheries - like those across the U.S. - are protected and managed for long-term sustainability. In addition, he will share actions individuals can take help protect and conserve these important species.
