This year, the festival will host three special record label showcases.

On Friday, March 9, New West Records artists will take the stage at Ships of the Sea. The acclaimed Nashville-based label will spotlight Athens duo Cicada Rhythm, hot indie artist Caroline Rose (though she fetched fans with her rockabilly sensibilities, Rose will release a synth-driven pop album, Loner, on New West in 2018), Lilly Hiatt (her 2017 full-length Trinity Lane was considered one of the year's best by many critics), and the Highway Queen herself, Nikki Lane (Savannahians caught her at Ships last year for Savannah Music Festival).

Athens-based Normaltown Records will present Normaltown Records & Friends at El-Rocko Lounge on Saturday, March 10. The lineup features White Violet (the Athens indie band released its first album in three years, AGES, in 2017), indie-pop duo DEGA, Houston's Wild Moccasins, recent Boone, North Carolina-based signees The Nude Party, and David Barbe & Inward Dream Ebb. Barbe, who rose to fame playing in the band Sugar and producing nearly every Drive-By Truckers album, is backed by members of New Madrid.

On Saturday, March 10, Sleep Well Records will hold its first showcase. The label was founded by ALyse Vellturo of pronoun. Vellturo's own project will play the showcase, in addition to Charles Fauna and Cape Francis.

The festival also announced the addition of Savannah-based acts to the roster. Bero Bero (the new project from Veronica Garcia of Street Clothes), Cory Chambers Jazz Band, Cusses, Damon and the Shitkickers, songwriters Isaac Enen (formerly of the band Miquel Moure), Linkin Crawford, Payne Bridges, and Ryan Jones, Nancy Druid, Rude Dude and the Creek Freaks, and Twisty Cats are all slated to perform.

Pre-sale tickets are currently sold out, but regular-priced 3-Day General Admission pass, which grants access to all concerts Thursday through Saturday, including the Opening Night Event, are still available for $79 plus fees. Upgrade to VIP for $149 plus fees and receive priority entrance at all venues, reserved seating at Ships of the Sea and Trinity UMC, access to the Artists' Lounge all weekend (free beer and beyond), access to all private events and after-parties, and an invitation to the festival wrap-up party on Sunday, March 11. Tickets can be purchased through savannahstopover.com.
