Savannah's Dope KNife, Aphelion team up with Dead Prez's Stic for new song

Geoff L. Johnson
Savannah rapper Dope KNife has shared a new track.

The first in a series of singles, the track was produced by Savannah's own Aphelion (the team behind The Garage Savannah).

"Art of the Blind" features a performance from Stic of iconic hip-hop duo Dead Prez.

Formed in 1996, Dead Prez has long had listeners and critics talking for their revolutionary and political subject matter and over-the-top performances. Their signature album, Let's Get Free, received widespread critical acclaim and remains a strong influence on the genre to this day.

Dope KNife is currently on route West for a string of shows in California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. He'll perform in Savannah on Saturday, February 17 at House of Strut with Bero Bero, a new project from Street Clothes' Veronica Garcia-Melendez. See for information.
