To open Scenic Impressions, Telfair presents a lecture by noted scholar of Southern art, Martha Severens. Severens is a former curator at museums including the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, the Portland Museum of Art, Maine, and the Greenville County Museum of Art in Spartanburg, SC.
