There's a few things you didn't touch on:

    1) For most of us who work downtown who can't access CAT, uber has now become a cheaper option than parking (remember, if we work a 10 hour shift we're paying $20 to try to park somewhere close to work). So that's not really removing cars from the street...

    2) Safety. You say take the CAT, I'm assuming you're also a proponent of walking/biking. I would love to bike, but as a female bartender, biking home at 4:30am carrying cash on me (whether I actually am or if someone believes I am) makes me a prime target. You know our crime rate is through the roof, so what is your viable answer to that? I can bike down during the day, but how do I get my bike home to do so the next day?

    3) Many of us have suggested a reduced rate pass for those who work downtown. We don't expect to get free parking, we just want to feel safe getting home, and part of that means getting to our vehicles safely. What's your thoughts on that?
