Frank “Sonny” Seiler is a lifelong Lutheran and multigenerational member of Ascension. A native Savannahian, he was raised in Savannah and attended Charles Ellis School, Porter Military School in Charleston and graduated with a business and law degree from the University of Georgia. Seiler spent his childhood with boyhood friends enjoying the idyllic lifestyle of Parkside and Ardsley Park neighborhoods. He was married to the former Cecelia Gunn of Columbus and has four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. While practicing law in Savannah for more than 65 years, he began the UGA legacy of the UGA Mascot "Uga".
