Spirits and the Melchizedek Children, Blackrune, A Drug Called Tradition @Hang Fire

IT'S an evening of transcendent and progressive rock 'n' roll music down at Hang Fire. Come prepared to be bathed in glorious waves of feedback, gossamer guitar meanderings, and bellowing low ends.

Spirits and the Melchizedek Children are a staple of the regional shoegaze/psych scene, dubbed by the A.V. Club “a Southern Sigur Rós.” They’re taking advantage of this time on the road to try out new material; a fresh record is in the works.

Spirits and the Melchizedek Children are joined by enigmatic Atlantans A Drug Called Tradition and our own psych masters, Blackrune.
