Taste of Core Spinning with Tamar Duran

Core spinning is a set of techniques involving different ways to design and create textured and colorful yarn, based on using a "core" yarn.  These yarns are suitable for jewelry, knitting, weaving and rug making. Beginners are welcome, but you need to know how to spin a stable single and ply.  Bring a wheel with an orifice large enough to accommodate a bulky weight yarn. Bring a spool of sewing thread, a small skein of fingering or lace weight mohair or crochet cotton plus an ounce or two of a a small art batt and/or roving.
