A Bush Road resident awoke at 2 a.m. to the sound of his dog barking. He walked outside and heard male voices arguing and cursing. A few moments later, a vehicle left the scene with its headlights off. After awaking the next morning, the man noticed a truck was sitting where he had heard the voices. He noticed it had an out-of-county tag and there appeared to be a scuffle area with a spent .22 caliber shell casing and one .22 caliber shell that had not been fired. Police searched the area, and attempted to contact the owner of the truck.
Police were called in response to a call that a woman was not breathing. When they arrived, EMS was on the scene and administering aid to the woman. They learned the woman has diabetes and kidney problems. She has guardianship of three grandchildren, who discovered that their grandmother was not moving and not breathing. They ran to the neighbors, who called 911.
