ASHEVILLE'S The Get Right Band returns to Savannah this weekend. With a unique blend of rock, funk, an reggae, the group has received high praise from NPR, Huffington Post, WTF w/ Marc Maron, and more.
Formed by guitarist Durocher and bassist Jesse Gentry, who have been performing together since their tweens, The Get Right Band thrives thanks to great chemistry between its players, stellar chops, and inventive arrangements.
The band release its third studio album, Who’s in Charge?, in 2016. Recorded at the legendary Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, the record was mixed by Julian Dreyer (The Avett Brothers, Dawes, Band of Horses) and mastered by six-time Grammy winner Brian Lucey (The Black Keys, Grace Potter, Dr. John, Beck).
