The Gina Furtado Project

Gina Furtado’s style combines the bluegrass banjo she learned as a young girl with her fascination with all kinds of acoustic string swing music. Her bandmates in The Gina Furtado Project include Gina’s sister, Malia, of fiddle, Drew Matulich on guitar and Max Johnson on bass. Together they create a captivating blend of traditional bluegrass, mixed with swing and borderline gypsy jazz.
