The Prints of Dame Laura Knight

When: Through July 28
Telfair Museums exhibits nine prints by Dame Laura Knight (British, 1877-1970), together for the first time since they were acquired by the museum in 1949. Lauded for her colorful, realist paintings, Knight experimented successfully with printmaking in the 1920s and ‘30s and drew upon themes already prevalent in her paintings such as the circus, backstage dressing rooms, theater performers, and dancers.
