Driving Miss Daisy is a tale of friendship between an elderly Jewish widow, Daisy, and Hoke, her African-American chauffeur. Told against the backdrop of evolving racial relations in Atlanta during the mid-20th century, Daisy and Hoke’s relationship gets off to a rocky start when he is hired by her son Boolie (Tyson) to be her driver after she crashes her car.
