JOIN FOUR of Savannah’s finest singer-songwriters at The Bean as they pay tribute to one of the greatest songwriters known: Fort Worth, Texas’s treasure, Townes Van Zandt.

The country-folk pioneer, known for his beautiful, heartbreaking lyricism, has inspired countless performers. His legacy has impacted our own Jason Bible, A.M. Rodriguez, Matt Eckstine, and Brandon Nelson McCoy, all of whom will offer their unique takes on Van Zandt classics.

As a tribute to the power of written word, all proceeds from the evening will benefit Deep Center, the Savannah-based creative writing literacy program.

Saturday, April 29, 8 p.m., donations at the door, all-ages
