Training for Hospice Mascot

Hospice Savannah is recruiting caring, fun-loving and energetic individuals to be the “Henry the Hospice Hound” mascot. Volunteers wear a full dog costume to become Henry and join the hospice’s outreach staff and volunteers at community events, health fairs and in visiting nursing homes and assisted living facilities. A specially abbreviated training will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until noon in the community education room at Hospice House, 1352 Eisenhower Drive in Savannah. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and students are encouraged to participate. If you enjoy having fun and bringing sunshine to others, this is the opportunity for you.
