Tree Read at The Sentient Bean

Tree Read was born in Nashville, TN in the early '90s. In Feb. 2014, she released her debut album, "First Grade". She finds influence in the stars Van Gogh paints, the grit and power in Janis Joplin's voice, and the dry humor of Monty Python. To describe her sound I'll paint a picture: when she sings there is a tear in one eye, but she is winking with the other.
