Raynbird offers local reggae vibes.

Head down to River Street to enjoy a celebration of local music, art, and fellowship.

From May 18-20, Rousakis Plaza will feature entertainers, artists and crafters at the family-friendly Unity in the Community Festival, held every third weekend of the month. This weekend’s festival will honor and celebrate Savannah’s mothers with diverse activities for all.

In addition to arts and crafts, the weekend features plenty of live music, including a set from rising Savannah band Raynbird. Fronted by Rayner Wilmot, a self-taught musician born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Raynbird was formed in 2017 and has featured a varying lineup of Savannah-based musicians ever since. Inspired by the traditional reggae of the 1970s through the 1990s, you’ll hear touches of funk, jazz, blues and beyond in Raynbird’s grooves.

Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 11 a .m. – 6 p.m., free
