March 6, 2025 – The Savannah Jewish Federation held the opening reception for their Love for La La Land Gallery on Thursday, March 6th. The benefit is aimed to help artists and art workers impacted by the recent fires in Los Angeles. The event’s theme is “Tikkun Olam” which is a Jewish concept that means “repairing the world”. It’s a central principle of Judaism that encourages people to work towards making the world a better place. With community support, they hope to sell as many pieces – which have been generously donated by local artists – to raise as much money as possible for The Brick’s Grief and Hope Fundraiser.
