Project Communication team talks progress on Broughton St.

Construction on Broughton St. was the perfect storm when it first started in April 2020 and less and less tourists were able to travel to visit the city. Now, the project has become so much more than when it originally started, but lights at the end of the over-a-year long tunnel are being revealed bit by bit and the city is looking to celebrate their new streetscape with a block party Saturday, June 26.

Savannah, It’s your arena!

Businesses in Savannah often aim to cater to tourists, but Monty Jones, operations manager for the Oak View Group, made a point to say, “We want Savannah to know this is their arena.”
The Savannah Arena will be the perfect stopover spot for big names in entertainment, hosting concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events and more, Jones said.

From cameras to chinooks

Savannah residents are surrounded by components of aviation, oftentimes seeing military aircrafts conducting training or aiding in missions within the community.
The aviation service members are deeply integrated into air operations necessary for rescues and more regular tasks which make them an integral part of the Coastal Empire.
