Born in Los Angeles, California, I’ve always had a desire to travel and write. The feeling one is overcome by when stepping foot into a new world and exploring its surrounding area was always something I tried to seek out in life. In 2018, I moved to Augusta, Georgia to be an editor of multiple travel publications and one weekend I was able to carve out enough time to take a trip down to Savannah.
During my brief stay in the Hostess City, I was in awe of its natural beauty, diversity, and history. My curiosity peaked and I had an uncontrollable desire to learn more. As the news editor of Connect Savannah Inc., I will have the opportunity to do just that, and I look forward to covering the city in its entirety, as well as learn something new about this wonderful place every day.
When I’m not reading, writing, or traveling, you can find me trying to live as active of a lifestyle as possible. I love hiking, the beach, nature, running, and playing sports. I am also a huge sports fan and can watch pretty much watch any sport you put on the television in front of me. I have a two-year-old Labrador Retriever pup named Emmie, who I don’t believe has had a bad day since she’s been on this earth.
