HERE'S TO 200 MORE! Historical Marker Unveiled Honoring 200th Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Committee to Commemorate the 200th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah unveiled the 200th St Patrick’s Day Parade Historical Marker on Montgomery Street in downtown Savannah on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024.

Savannah City council members like Nick Palumbo (District 4) and Estella Edwards Shabazz (5), state leaders like U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter and Savannah's Mayor Van Johnson were on hand for the ceremony which attracted at least 175 people to attend. Watch the slideshow of photos from the event at bottom of this story.
