Mayor's Small Business Conference this week

CITY NOTES: Windsor Forest community meeting with Purtee on Wednesday; City to host Summerside Playground ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday

This year, the Mayor's Small Business Conference (MSBC) will be part of an expanded Savannah Small Business Week. On Monday, April 29, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Pre-Conference Small Business Forum and Job Fair.

On Tuesday, April 30, the MSBC will kick-off at 8am with a packed agenda of workshops and presentations, including the 11th Annual State of Small Business, during which Savannah area business leaders from various sectors share an overview of their industries and offer key insights into the future possibilities for Savannah’s local economy and its small business owners.
Carver State Bank is the MSBC title sponsor for the 2024 event.

Immediately following the sessions of MSBC, attendees can participate in an on-site “reverse trade show” to network and market their business services. On Wednesday, May 1, the City of Savannah Purchasing Department will host a Procurement Breakfast to share information with participants on how to do business with the City and gain insights into upcoming city projects.
