The Alzheimer’s Association Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia Gala was Saturday, May 18 at the Savannah Trade Center. All funds generated by the annual event aid in advancing the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, primarily being used for research funding, public policy influence and local care for those living with the disease.

More than 800 attendees supported 10 local dancers competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy and People’s Choice Award in the competition.

Jamie Coleman won the Mirror Ball after raising $101,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. The People’s Choice Award winner for 2024 was Patty Turner.
