E93 Radio personality Kenya Cabine made opening remarks and got the audience fired up to see Big Boi. -
Director of the Youth Futures Authority Edward Chisholm talked with the audience about some of the problems facing youth in our community. -
Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, a Savannah native, took the stage to cheers and a standing ovation from the audience. -
Big Boi addressed issues in the community and how “something’s got to give,” because the old ways of trying to fix the schools and community are obviously not getting things done. -
After finishing his talk, Big Boi held a question and answer session with local youth. -
Youth asked Big Boi questions about what success meant to him, why he started his non-profit organization The Big Kidz Foundation in Atlanta rather than Savannah, and the pros and cons of pursuing entertainment careers in Atlanta.
