L.A.-based experimental rockers whose tunes are cathartic explosions of overlapping genres and influences. Fans of Talking Heads, Animal Collective, Sonic Youth and even PiL may find much to dig about this buzzworthy quartet whose had remixes of their tunes taking hold in the international dance community. With Baltimore’s avant-garde performance art/synth-rock duo Video Hippos and N.Y.’s angsty drum machine screamers Crime Novels.
