AFTER THE CANCELLATION of the 2020 Savannah Music Festival due to COVID-19, festival goers and fans were left wondering what would come of the annual multi-week event. The festival has now announced a series of concerts throughout the fall with several artists who were slated to headline this year’s Music Festival.

Jason Isbell, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and Mandolin Orange have all been announced as part of the series, which will take place at both the Johnny Mercer Theatre and the Lucas Theatre.

Ticket purchases for SMF 2020 will be transferred to and honored at the new events, with refund requests still available through May 15.

SMF noted that no other shows slated for the festival will be rescheduled beyond the newly-announced series. One SMF 2020 artist, Lake Street Dive, will be announcing a rescheduled headlining show at a future date.
