Ben Carter Enterprises says that it “recently secured commitments from Club Monaco, Michael Kors, Kendra Scott, Tommy Bahama, Victoria’s Secret and Blends a Coffee Boutique,” according to a company spokesperson.
“The six retailers will join L’Occitane, lululemon, H&M, Savannah Tap Room, J. Crew, Lilly Pulitzer’s Palm Avenue, Goorin Bros. and The Ancient Olive in The Broughton Street Collection, the firm’s $90 million historic restoration project on Broughton Street,” the spokesperson indicates.
“We are thrilled to announce these exclusive brands have selected Broughton Street as their new home,” said Quito Anderson, CEO of Ben Carter Enterprises. “This shopping district continues to show strong signs of resurgence as it becomes populated with a carefully curated mix of retailers that align with Savannah’s plans for growth.”

None of them will last long. If the city’s eager parking predators don’t run off their customers, they’ll be robbed and possibly pistol-whipped in broad daylight, or gunfights will erupt on the street in front of their doors.
Nothing says SAVANNAH more than the same national and international chain stores that you can find in every other city. It is a shame that the “revitalization” consists largely of making Savannah’s “Main Street” just like every other main street.
Alex, Too bad these retailers have VERY deep pockets and can withstand long periods of money drought. SMDeluxe said it, TOURISTS shop in these types of places…not TRAVELERS. There is huge difference and our leaders are going for the cheap, tacky-but-expensive route that appeals to your cheap and tacky tourist who has more money than sense or taste. So we continue on our path to becoming Disney Savannah.
