CAT Board holding special called meeting

Faye DiMassimo resigned as CAT Executive Director and CEO to take job with City of Savannah

The Chatham Area Transit Authority Board Chairman, Deidrick Cody, is holding a special-called meeting on Wednesday, May 8, at 10:30 am. The meeting will be held in-person at CAT Central and virtually on zoom.

The meeting is an executive session called to discuss personnel matters.

For clarity, Cody chairs a nine-member board charged with governing Chatham Area Transit (CAT). The Board of Directors, as a whole, is "The Chatham Area Transit Authority."

On Tuesday, May 7, a CAT press release announced the resignation of CEO Faye DiMassimo. DiMassimo took a position with the City of Savannah which required first her resignation as CAT's CEO. She begins the job with the City on June 3.
