On the heels of last week’s announcement of the 2021 Savannah Jazz Festival lineup and the welcomed news that the 40th annual event will be held live in Forsyth Park, Sept. 23–26, Savannah Jazz has a lot to celebrate. Perfect timing for July’s monthly concert with Afro-Cuban Jazz and Salsa band Gino Castillo and the Cuban Cowboys.

Once upon a time over a decade ago, we decided to start a blog. It was a blog about food in and around Savannah. We thought Savannah had more good food than we were being given credit for, so my business partner Senea Crystal and I set out to do something about that. We chose to call it Eat It and Like It so that we wouldn’t be limited in our scope of what we talked about. Good food is good food. Even if the Savannah/Hilton Head Island region is clearly home.

The Estes Gallery debuts at Great Oaks Bank
Great Oaks Bank CEO Mike Odom, Jr. has teamed up with Arts on the Coast to welcome the newest art gallery to Richmond Hill.
