Five candidates will vie for Chatham County Sheriff
A spokesman for Chatham County government says the following candidates qualified to run in the special election for Sheriff of Chatham County scheduled for March 1, 2016.
Roy J. Harris III
McArthur Holmes
Kim Gray Middleton
John T. Wilcher
Ken Williamson
The winner will replace the late Al St. Lawrence, who was Chatham County Sheriff for nearly a quarter century. He died November 25.
