On Saturday, Jan. 13, Savannah College of Art and Design will screen the film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" at the Lucas Theatre at 7p.m.

Along with experiencing the concert film on the big screen, students and the public will be offered themed drinks and concessions, friendship bracelets, giveaways and a photobooth. SCAD alumni who worked on the film will introduce the screening, which will feature the original theatrical version.

For SCAD students, the event kicks off the 2024 winter quarter. "As a huge Taylor Swift fan, this is an extra special start to the quarter and I couldn’t wait to get back to campus for it! When I was eight years old I saw Taylor Swift in concert for the first time, and as an acting major at SCAD it’s been so incredible to see her evolution as a musician and history-making performer,” shared SCAD acting student Lucy Gunter via email correspondence.
