UPDATE: As of 11:30 a.m., Lake Mayer Community Park is now open.
According to a release sent by Chatham County Parks and Recreation, Lake Mayer Community Park will be closed until further notice for maintenance. Debris from the Back2School Festival and Sunday evening’s storms have required cleaning by Chatham County staff before the park can reopen to the public. Check back for updates.
